Current Form
The Denver Nuggets have won four of their last five games. They are considered to be one of the biggest favorites to win the title this year. In the first game, the Nuggets won 114-103 easily against the Lakers. Nikola Jokić, former MVP, was yet again their best player on the court. He scored 32 points with 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Their team chemistry is also great. Jamal Murray was also great in the first game. They just need some better bench production, and if they get some points from the bench, we believe that they will win this series easily.
The Los Angeles Lakers have won three of their last five games. They ended up being the 8th seed in the regular season. Being the 8th seed, the Lakers had to fight throughout the play-in tournament to get into the playoffs. They played against the Pelicans in the play-in tournament and won 110-106. Zion Williamson got hurt late in the fourth quarter and could not finish the game. We believe that if he had stayed in the game, the Pelicans would have won that game against the Lakers.
